Support without judgement

In an ideal world everyone is treated the same and protections for individual groups are not needed. However this is reality and if you are LGBT you already know that we are not treated equally. We can be evicted from our homes, loose our jobs and yes, even our lives to violent crime. The simple right to just be ourselves is often denied us by a society that looks down on us. The scales of justice are not balanced for us. Trusting our Governments to protect us from discrimination and abuse has not worked. We need action now not just years from now. The other alternative is to start our own inclusive towns and communities. Such a place is already in the planning stages. The town is called "No Judgement". It's intention is not to isolate but to integrate. No one would be refused entry. It would be a place where ANYONE could just live as themselves.

Few people realize the true economic power of the LGBT Community. With an estimated 10 million in this group we are worth over 680 BILLION dollars. In these hard economic times we are a force that has been largely untapped. This is our greatest strength as together we are really the answer for depressed town's and governments everywhere. This power is why LGBT towns can thrive. Advocates have largely focused on our rights and this is not unappreciated and their task is large. However we need to launch another front, economic. Trying to pass favorable laws for us has been like trying to launch a paper boat against a rivers current. The public is vehemently opposed to us. In fact laws opposing us have been specifically times to co-incide with the election of anti-LGBT candidates trying to dispense mob justice.

LGBT unity is important and over 300 organizations support Transgender inclusion. Only one does not, HRC who successfully had Transgender people barred from the recent ENDA bill in both houses of Congress. This despite the fact that the Transgendered have a 50% suicide attempt rate by their 20th birthday and over 70% un-employment rate. The fact is HRC has proved it is an LGB only organization and activley discriminates against transgender people. At a fundraising dinner in Houston on April of 2008 HRC called the Police on peacefull Transgender demonstrators who were simply asking to be included. The town of "No Judgement" will be Transgender inclusive and will become a major hub for Trangender services including low income housing, job training, health Care and counseling services. Eventually it would become a surgery center as well.

The town is now in the land aquisiton phase. At present we are looking at abandoned or non-incorporated town's in which to base. Most have cheap land and almost no structures built so the town would be built from the ground up. If successful other such communities would be built as well. There is no question that if we use our vast economic power that the town would indeed be a jewel for others to follow as well as an example of just what we can do if we are simply left alone to be oursleves. It is a place where Justice really means for all of it's citizens, not just for those born straight or of unquestioned gender.
